“It was in 1992 that I started Uniquities. I knew no one in North Carolina but somehow I managed to find an empty storefront on West Franklin St, buy some inventory and set up shop. A ton of hard work, resilience and grit have led me to where I am today with five locations in North Carolina, ownership of the building that I found empty back in the summer of 1992 and leading a team of strong, smart women to bring amazing clothing, accessories and style to this little part of heaven.”

Uniquities is a women-owned designer boutique in North Carolina, founded in 1992 by designer and CEO Julie Jennings. We’re known for premium denim and stylist-led capsule wardrobes: timeless, elevated pieces from established designers, chosen by people, not algorithms.

Where are Uniquities stores located?

Uniquities has five boutiques in North Carolina: Downtown Chapel Hill (452 W. Franklin St.), Village District in Raleigh, North Hills in Raleigh, Atherton Mill in Charlotte, and Birkdale Village in Huntersville. New arrivals hit our stores daily in limited quantities, and some pieces are only available in store. Find a store.

Does Uniquities offer free shipping?

Yes. U.S. orders over $300 ship free. Orders under $300 ship for $7–9, depending on the delivery address.

How fast do Uniquities orders ship?

Most orders ship within 2 business days from North Carolina, via UPS or USPS. Orders placed after 2 PM ET on Friday ship the following Monday, and weekend orders usually ship by Tuesday.

What is the Uniquities return policy?

Most full-price items purchased online can be returned for a refund within 10 days, or exchanged within 21 days. Final sale items, jewelry, swimwear, handbags and a few other categories are not returnable. Returns are started online, and a $10 prepaid label fee is deducted from your refund.
