We're feeling especially grateful for our Charlotte community! Uniquities has been named the 2026 Gold Winner for Best Women's Clothing Store in Charlotte's Best, and we couldn't be more honored.

To everyone who took the time to vote for us, shop with us, share our name with a friend, or simply stop by to say hello—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This recognition means so much because it comes from the community we're lucky enough to be part of.

A Little History, A Lot of Heart

Our story began in 1992, when founder Julie Jennings opened the first Uniquities boutique on West Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. What started as one women's clothing store has grown into five boutiques across North Carolina, all built around the same belief: great style is personal, and shopping should feel that way, too.

In November 2019, we opened our Charlotte boutique at Atherton Mill in the heart of South End. We were excited to bring our thoughtfully curated designer collections, premium denim, and personal styling experience to the Queen City. What we didn't yet know was just how special the community we'd find here would become.

More Than a Boutique

Over the years, we've had the pleasure of getting to know so many wonderful Charlotte women. We've helped you find the perfect pair of jeans, get dressed for weddings and celebrations, pack for unforgettable trips, and discover pieces that make you feel like your very best self.

But our favorite part has always been the relationships. The familiar faces, the stories shared in the fitting room, the friends you bring along, and the trust you place in our stylists each time you walk through our doors.

Those moments are what make Uniquities so much more than a place to shop.
