Introducing Chan Luu

Vietnamese-born designer Chan Luu started her namesake brand in 1996 as a passion project, making jewelry by hand in her garage after years working in retail. What began as beaded bracelets grew into a full world of jewelry, cashmere, and ready-to-wear — all still rooted in handmade, artisan craftsmanship.

About the Brand

    Every piece starts with traditional artisan techniques, wire-wrapped, woven, or hand-cast, rather than mass production. Chan has always believed that something made by hand carries a connection to the wearer that a machine-made piece simply can't replicate.

    Chan built her business around fair labor practices and reliable, well-paid work for artisans overseas, leadership that earned recognition from the United Nations and helped set a standard for the industry around her.

  • A Family Legacy

    Since 2021, Chan's niece and longtime head of design, Tessa Tran, has led the brand as CEO and Creative Director. She's brought her own point of view to the collections while keeping the mission the same: preserving artisan craft, one handmade piece at a time.

When will my order ship?

Most orders ship within 2 business days. Orders placed after 2 PM Eastern on Friday will ship the following Monday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday usually ship by Tuesday of the following week. We ship from North Carolina.

Can I pick up my order at my local store?

We do offer In Store Pickup! Simply choose your prefered location at checkout. Please note that this feature will not be available during online sales and promotions.
